Saudi interior ministry takes part in Doha security exhibition

DOHA — The Saudi Ministry of Interior participated in the security exhibition, being held on the sidelines of the joint tactical exercise “Arabian Gulf Security 4,” involving security agencies from the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries. The Supreme Committee for the joint tactical exercise for security agencies of the GCC countries is hosting the exercise from January 30 to February 4 at Qatar Mall. The exhibition was inaugurated by the Vice Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Arabian Gulf Security (4) exercise and Director of the exercise Brig. Gen.Nawaf Majid Al Ali Al Maadheed along with a number of security leaders, officers, and representatives of the participating security agencies. The exhibition welcomes visitors from the public daily during the morning and evening periods, and includes pavilions for the countries participating in the exercise, through which they showcase their field efforts and various contributions, in addition to awareness materials and documentary films, as well as displaying a number of innovations, smart systems and the most prominent modern security technologies in the fields of security and police work, reflecting the level of readiness and development witnessed by the security system. During the exhibition, the Saudi Ministry of Interior showcases the Kingdom’s efforts to combat drug smuggling at the local, regional, and international levels.
