Interior minister meets security leaders in Qassim

ALQASSIM — Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif met security and military leaders in Qassim on Sunday, in the presence of Qassim Emir Prince Faisal bin Mishaal and Deputy emir Prince Fahd bin Saad.During the meeting, the interior minister conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to security and military leaders and personnel in the region.He congratulated them on Founding Day, describing the occasion as a reflection of unity and cohesion under the Kingdom’s banner and of its deep historical roots.Prince Abdulaziz praised the efforts of security and military personnel in carrying out their duties, noting their dedication in safeguarding the Kingdom’s security and stability.He said their work represents a model in strengthening public safety and reflects the high level of readiness and efficiency of the security and military sectors with the support of the leadership.The interior minister also conveyed the greetings of King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to residents of Qassim during a separate meeting with citizens, attended by the region’s emir and deputy emir.He said his visit to Qassim was in implementation of the leadership’s directives to maintain direct communication with citizens across the Kingdom and to follow up on their needs, noting the region’s development across various sectors.A ceremony was held on the occasion, beginning with a recitation from the Holy Qur’an. Abdulrahman Al-Arfaj delivered a speech on behalf of Qassim residents, welcoming the minister and expressing appreciation for his efforts in maintaining national security.Al-Arfaj said the visit coincided with Founding Day, which recalls the establishment of the First Saudi State and the unity between leadership and citizens.He noted the historical role of Qassim residents in supporting the First Saudi State and strengthening security and stability, adding that generations in the region have upheld loyalty and commitment to the Kingdom and its leadership.He said the Kingdom’s ongoing development is an extension of its strong foundations and a reflection of Vision 2030, which places people at the center of development, promotes quality of life and balances growth with sustainability.Residents expressed pride in the leadership and said the visit reflects the leadership’s commitment to following up on regional needs, enhancing security and development, and strengthening direct communication with citizens.
