Health Ministry launches "Check Your Health" campaign, offering 10 tests in a few minutes

RIYADH — The Saudi Ministry of Health launched on Tuesday the “Check Your Health” campaign across all regions of the Kingdom. This initiative, the largest of its kind, aims to enable citizens and residents to undergo ten essential preventative tests in a few minutes, facilitating early disease detection according to modern healthcare standards. The launch took place during a tour of the “Check Your Health” center in Riyadh by Minister of Health and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Health Holding Company Fahd Al-Jalajel. He inspected the field operations, which utilize a drive-through testing service, ensuring easy access, rapid service, and high efficiency in accordance with the highest quality standards. The campaign includes a wide range of essential preventative tests such as blood pressure measurement, obesity assessment, and early detection of colorectal and breast cancer, in addition to other tests within the basic package, all available at primary healthcare centers across the Kingdom. The program is based on the Saudi healthcare model, which places the family physician at the starting point of the treatment journey. This contributes to increasing the system’s efficiency and facilitating timely access to services for beneficiaries. In a message posted on the “X” platform, Minister Al-Jalajel emphasized that the “Check Your Health” campaign represents a fundamental pillar in the health transformation process and Vision 2030. He noted that the healthcare system is steadily moving towards establishing a culture of early detection as a strategic choice for protecting society. The minister said that he met with a number of media professionals and writers during the tour, discussing the importance of promoting health awareness and the media’s role in supporting this transformation. The campaign’s launch coincides with a 120 percent increase in colorectal screenings within a single year, a clear indicator of growing public awareness and the effectiveness of preventative programs. The campaign aims to enhance the quality of life by encouraging routine check-ups, as research indicates a high percentage of the population does not undergo regular screenings. This initiative aligns with the Kingdom’s broader “Transformation in Health Care Model,” which emphasizes preventative care and early detection to reduce the burden of chronic diseases.RIYADH — The Saudi Ministry of Health launched on Tuesday the “Check Your Health” campaign across all regions of the Kingdom.
