MANAMA — Thirty-two people were injured, including four critically, after Iranian drones targeted the Sitra area south of Manama early Monday, Bahraini authorities said, as several Gulf countries reported intercepting missile and drone attacks.According to the Bahrain Ministry of Health, the drone attack on Sitra injured 32 civilians, including four with serious wounds.All the injured were Bahraini nationals, including a 17-year-old girl who sustained severe head injuries.Two children aged seven and eight suffered serious injuries to their lower limbs, while the youngest victim was a two-month-old infant, the ministry said in a statement carried by Bahrain News Agency.Earlier, the Bahrain Ministry of Interior said several homes were damaged in the attack and confirmed civilian injuries.In a separate statement, the ministry said security forces also intercepted and destroyed a drone east of the Al‑Jouf area.In the United Arab Emirates, officials in Fujairah said a fire broke out in the Fujairah Oil Industry Zone after debris from an aerial interception fell in the area.
