Authority launches 5 free luggage storage centers at Two Holy Mosques

MAKKAH — The General Authority for the Care of the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has developed five dedicated luggage storage centers to serve pilgrims at the Two Holy Mosques. It aims to facilitate the movement of worshippers and enhance comfort and organization.The authority said four luggage storage centers are located at the Grand Mosque in Makkah.The facilities are distributed across strategic locations including the western courtyard behind restroom No. 6, Ajyad Street next to restroom No. 1, the eastern courtyard near the Makkah Library, and the services building in the third Saudi expansion after Chute 3.Designated luggage drop-off points have also been established at several main entrances of the Grand Mosque, including King Abdulaziz Gate (1), King Fahd Gate (79), Umrah Gate, and Gate 100.At the Prophet’s Mosque in Madinah, the authority introduced a new luggage storage center located between Exit 365 and Exit 366 to facilitate the movement of visitors within the mosque’s courtyards and facilities.The authority said luggage can be stored for up to four hours.
