MANAMA — Bahrain said it arrested 41 members of a group allegedly linked to Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), according to the Interior Ministry.State news agency Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported Saturday that the arrests followed security investigations and public prosecution inquiries into espionage and foreign interference cases.Authorities said legal procedures against the detainees are ongoing, while security operations continue against anyone found connected to the group or involved in activities violating Bahraini law.Bahrain had previously announced arrests of individuals allegedly linked to the IRGC amid heightened regional tensions following US and Israeli strikes on Iran on Feb. 28.The conflict triggered actions by Tehran against Israel and US allies in the Gulf, alongside disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.A ceasefire brokered by Pakistan took effect on April 8, but talks in Islamabad failed to secure a permanent agreement.
