ISLAMABAD — At least 11 people were killed and 20 others injured in an explosion at a police checkpoint in northwestern Pakistan on Saturday, according to local authorities.The explosion occurred at a checkpoint in Dera Ismail Khan near the border between Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan provinces, local newspaper Dawn reported.Rescue 1122 said the dead included eight men, two women and a child.
