The forecast is based on outputs from the Saudi numerical weather model, with the NCM releasing an animated map illustrating the expected movement and frequency of dust/sand and high waves during the period. According to the forecast, activity of fast winds that stir up dust and sands — accompanied by high waves in coastal areas — is expected during the daytime across the Tabuk, Madinah, Makkah, and Jazan regions. The high winds expected to extend on Saturday include Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, and Hail.
