RIYADH — The Riyadh International Book Fair 2026 will take place from Dec. 10 to 19 in the Saudi capital, the Literature, Publishing and Translation Commission announced as it opened registration for local and international publishers.The new dates set the schedule for one of Saudi Arabia’s largest annual cultural events, which brings together publishers and professionals from the literature, publishing and translation sectors from around the world.Organized by the commission under the Ministry of Culture, the fair provides publishers with a platform to showcase their latest literary and intellectual releases and features a cultural program of panel discussions, workshops and lectures involving writers, academics and experts from Saudi Arabia and abroad.Syria was previously announced as the guest of honor for the 2026 edition.
