Several Muslim countries slam Iranian attack on Saudi Arabia

RIYADH — Several Islamic countries, including Pakistan, Jordan and Syria strongly condemned blatant Iranian attacks targeting Saudi Arabia and several other countries in the region. Foreign ministers of Pakistan, Syria, and Kuwait expressed their solidarity with Saudi Arabia during their phone calls with Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan on Saturday. In his call with Prince Faisal bin Farhan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Foreign Affairs of Pakistan Mohammad Ishaq Dar denounced the Iranian attack. Jordan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates reaffirmed Jordan’s firm rejection of the attacks and expressed its full solidarity with Saudi Arabia. The ministry emphasized Jordan’s support for all measures taken by the Kingdom to safeguard its sovereignty, security, and the safety of its citizens.
