10 residents arrested in Makkah for violating Hajj regulations

MAKKAH — Hajj Security Forces arrested 10 residents of Sudanese, Egyptian, and Yemeni nationalities for violating Hajj regulations by attempting to enter Makkah and remain there without a Hajj permit. The security authorities apprehended them and took legal action against them.The General Directorate of Public Security urged all Saudi citizens and expatriates to comply with Hajj regulations and guidelines for the 2026 Hajj season and to cooperate with relevant authorities to ensure the security and safety of pilgrims. The directorate affirmed that violators will face statutory penalties.
