GAZA — An Israeli drone strike killed two Palestinian siblings, including a 15-year-old girl, in southern Gaza on Saturday, while separate strikes elsewhere in the enclave wounded at least a dozen more people, according to Palestinian health officials.Nasser Hospital said the strike targeted tents sheltering displaced Palestinians in the Muwasi area, killing 15-year-old Islam Moussa and her 30-year-old brother, Abdullah Moussa. At least seven other people were wounded in the attack.The Israeli military confirmed it had carried out a strike in the Muwasi area, saying it had targeted a Hamas militant but providing no further details.Relatives gathered at Nasser Hospital, where the victims’ bodies, wrapped in white burial shrouds, were prepared for burial.In a separate incident, an Israeli strike hit a tent sheltering displaced Palestinians in western Gaza City, wounding at least 12 people, according to Shifa Hospital. The Palestinian Red Crescent Society said two of the wounded were in critical condition and that most of the casualties were women.The Israeli military said it had targeted a Hamas militant in the area and said it was not aware of any uninvolved civilians being harmed.Palestinians also reported hearing a large explosion in Gaza City, while additional strikes were reported in central Gaza later Saturday. Israeli military officials said they were reviewing those reports.Despite a ceasefire reached in October that halted the most intense phase of fighting, Israel has continued conducting near-daily strikes across the Gaza Strip, saying it is targeting Hamas militants and responding to alleged ceasefire violations.
