Israeli strikes kill 6 in southern Lebanon amid ceasefire violations

BEIRUT — A fresh wave of Israeli airstrikes in southern Lebanon killed at least six people since early Saturday, according to Lebanese state media, amid continued breaches of an ongoing ceasefire.Lebanon’s National News Agency, citing the Health Ministry, said an Israeli strike on the town of Ain Baal in the Tyre district killed one person and injured seven others, including three women.Another strike targeting a house in Louaizeh in the Iqlim al-Tuffah region killed three people, while a separate attack on a car along the Kfardjal–Nabatieh road left two more dead.In a separate incident, two civilians were killed and several others injured in an Israeli raid carried out shortly after midnight between Thursday and Friday.
