GENEVA — Qatar and Pakistan announced significant progress early Monday in ongoing diplomatic efforts between the US and Iran following the conclusion of the first round of high-level talks at the Lake Lucerne Summit in Switzerland.They said the US and Iran have agreed on a roadmap for a final deal to be reached within 60 days, as well as a “de-confliction cell” to ensure an end to military operations in Lebanon.Iran and the US have also formed a “line of communication” aimed at ensuring safe passage in the Strait of Hormuz, they said in a joint statement.”The Lake Lucerne Summit was conducted in a positive and constructive atmosphere.
