MOSCOW — A massive Ukrainian drone attack on Moscow and the surrounding region overnight killed two people and injured 20 others, Russian authorities said Sunday, as Ukraine confirmed carrying out long-range strikes targeting Russian energy and logistics infrastructure.Moscow Mayor Sergey Sobyanin described it as the “most massive” drone attack on the capital, claiming that more than 1,600 Ukrainian drones had been shot down since Saturday, including 450 approaching Moscow.Sobyanin said several drones reached the Moscow Oil Refinery, damaging the facility, while another struck a residential building. No casualties were reported in the capital itself.“The unprecedented attack was clearly planned with the aim of disrupting the elections.
