RIYADH — The Transport General Authority (TGA) stressed the importance of dealing with duly licensed and authorized transport operators in the educational transport sector as the new academic year begins. It emphasized that the safety of students is a priority in regulating the transport sector. The TGA urged parents to take advantage of the available regulated and licensed educational transport services through various means and options. It advised to avoid dealing with unlicensed transport operators, saying that their practices may pose risks to the safety of male and female students. The authority noted that licensed buses have several features that enable beneficiaries to identify them, including a yellow plate, a stop arm on both sides of the bus, a customer service contact number, and the license number, operating card number, and bus number of the service provider displayed on the front and rear of the bus. The TGA continues its regulatory oversight of the educational transport sector as the new academic year begins, ensuring compliance with the laws, regulations, and requirements, monitoring violations, and taking the necessary regulatory measures.RIYADH — The Transport General Authority (TGA) stressed the importance of dealing with duly licensed and authorized transport operators in the educational transport sector as the new academic year begins.
