Tourism Ministry blocks seven online platforms for violating Tourism Law

RIYADH — The Ministry of Tourism, in coordination with relevant authorities, has blocked seven online platforms for violating the Tourism Law. The platforms provided travel and tourism services, including domestic Umrah packages and tourist excursions, without meeting regulatory requirements.The blocking of the platforms is part of the ministry’s efforts to curb irregular practices in tourism activities, protect the rights of tourists and Umrah pilgrims, and safeguard them against fraudulent practices and services that do not meet quality requirements.Ministry of Tourism Spokesperson Nasr Al-Ansari affirmed that the ministry continues to monitor violations across various tourism activities, including online travel platforms, and takes legal action against violators.
